Vision 20/20 Proposition

What makes Vision 20/20 unique is its truly interdisciplinary character. The 20 are not selected only on the basis of their expertise or prior experience with the particular theme established for their class. Rather, they will be a mix of experts and others who are drawn from the ranks of Philadelphia’s business, policy, logistics and legal sectors. Working in close concert with local, national and international subject matter experts, as well as clinical providers and community organizers, the 20 will undertake a deep dive into the theoretical and empirical underpinnings of their thematic assignments. Analyzing existing research, conducting their own novel studies, and co-creating with the communities most acutely impacted by the issue at hand, the 20's year-long fellowship will yield a carefully synthesized and clearly presented report comprising twenty distinct policy proposals and programmatic directives to address the problem that is their charge.
